Delhi’s sweet tooth is as well known as its obsession with food. While covering them all is a task that seems impossible, we still gave it a shot and found these gems that have to be on every Delhi dweller’s bucket list.

  1. The Zen Forrest @ The Fatty Bao

This dessert is a deconstructed roller coaster ride for the palate. The sweetness of the ice cream is balanced by the mellow freshness of the sorbet. The platter recreates a forest-y extravaganza complete with earthy tones immaculately blended with hints of bright shades. A delight feast both for the eyes and the taste buds.

Secondly, you’re not only going to fall in love with this flavour but watching it made especially for you using that engrossing technique of making ice cream will make your day ten times better. We don’t have anything against you ordering dessert before main course, but the Ice Pan Creamery works best as a mouth freshener post-meals.

Chandni Chowk is famous for this dessert and it is advisable to have it as much as you can before it is too late.  This unique milk based dessert that is sold only in winters  on the streets of Chandni Chowk & not in the famous Sweet Shops. This legendary dessert has survived the test of time because of its richness and the Delhiites’ craving for it.

Fruit Kulfis are found in several shops in Chandni Chowk exhibiting an authentic flavor as they are made from real fruits. Over 60 varieties of Kulfis ranging from the traditional Pista Malai Kulfi to  flavors such as Paan Kulfi, Blackberry Sharbat Kulfi, Rose Kulfi, Anar Kulfi and Kiwi Kulfi are available at an economical rate of about Rs 30-50 per Kulfi. By now you’ve probably noticed the pattern, but if you haven’t, Delhi believes in having both rather than choosing between two desserts. In this case, it’s kulfi and fruit. Mango to be specific.
