Started by young entrepreneurs, these trucks are constantly upping the culinary game. Here’s our list of food trucks you should be checking out in Delhi-NCR.
Inarguably Delhi-NCR’s first ice-cream truck, Frugurpop takes you back to your childhood with their popsicles. Serving Paletaz – Mexican popsicles in a variety of flavours and variations, they can be seen around the city serving happiness on a stick. They pride themselves on using fresh ingredients and no preservatives. Their menu includes fruits-based Paletaz as well as the decadent dessert Paletaz. Our recommendation? The cheery yellow paint on the truck predicts the happiness that you’re about to taste. Inspired by the trucks of New York and the television series Eat Street, Eggjactly is the brainchild of Vikrant Mishra, a marketer by profession. GPS enabled, this truck currently serves in Sectors 14, 29 and 44 in Gurgaon. Their extensive eggy breakfast menu is spells L-U-C-K-Y for eggetarians. You can try the Anda Bhurjee (scrambled eggs) pav or Anda curry with rice. If you want to catch them for lunch or dinner, we suggest the chicken wraps and ‘Messy Burger’ which packs in a grilled lamb patty, grilled mushrooms, melted cheese, caramelised onions, and a fried egg. The Lalit Food Truck Company
Hotel Lalit’s newest serving; this food truck is backed by a solid experience of 25 years in hospitality. Steered by the foresight of hotelier Keshav Suri, The Lalit Food Truck Company runs from the centre of the city. They offer a jumble of cuisines, Mexican being the crowd favourite. Expect deelish tacos, tortillas along with crowd-pleasers like burgers, falafel and churros. Follow them here .

One of the few food trucks that have a presence in Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad, Oh Bouy is popular with its patrons for comfort food. Look them up by the names of Godfather in Gurgaon, Spades in Noida and Flying Dragon in Ghaziabad. They offer Mexican, Continental and Lebanese food and operate on weekdays from 11am to 11pm and on Saturdays from 2.30pm till 10 pm. Follow them here.

As the first food truck to ply on the streets of Delhi, SuperSucker serves an interesting fusion of Mexican, Middle Eastern and Indian fast food. The driving force behind this truck is Chef Karan Malik’s love for food. The truck is an absolute delight to look at- with colourful swirls and patterns.
